Setting Up A Background for Depth

The background is so important because it sets the scene for the children.  When they walk onto the set they feel like the are in Santa's Workshop.  This is a sensory memory they will have forever.  From a photography standpoint, the background is so important because it adds depth and dimension to your photographs.

Larry personally designs his own backgrounds and flooring in order to create a custom look that is ripe with nostalgia.  The background is crucial, because it sets the scene and tells the story.  It elevates your work to art.  Then through the use of carefully curated props and other accessories it becomes even more believable.  This adds to the vintage style and gives your subjects a chance to interact with each other.  It truly is one of the most important parts to the success of your finished product.
